License Error: Bundle has an invalid license (3.0)Updated a month ago
This error message can be caused by a few issues. Here are some possible causes. If none of these fix the issue we recommend that you contact us for support.
By far the most common cause is that your Show File is not stored in the proper folder. All Show Files you want to access through the software need to be stored at: User/Documents/Museik/Library.
On Windows computers there is a second trigger for this error message: Show Files larger than about 2.35 GB time out during the license unlock process and return the invalid license error. This is only an issue on Windows computers. Some of our larger Show Files ship with two film versions: a full resolution version and a downscaled version that falls under the 2.35GB limit.
Sometimes when you unzip a Show File on a Windows computer the .ion file will be stored in a FOLDER that has the same name as the .ion Show File. If this FOLDER is placed in the Library folder Muséik will not recognize the Show File inside of it. Please move the .ion Show File up one layer so it is stored at User/Documents/Museik/Library.
Be sure your Show File has been unzipped. We send your files out compressed as a .zip file. You first need to uncompress the file to reveal the .ion Show File.
Try closing Muséik and re-opening it.
Check your computer specs. If your computer is underpowered it may have trouble processing the encryption. NOTE: this is different that the file size limit mentioned above, which is a hard limit on Windows machines and cannot be corrected by sourcing a more powerful computer.
Finally, this error can occur if your download of the Show File was corrupted somehow. Try re-downloading the file.
