Connecting Audio (3.2)Updated a month ago
There are two ways to output audio from the computer running Museik.
Option one is to plug in to the 3.5mm headphone jack. This will give you a stereo signal that can be routed to external speakers, a sound board, or other external audio equipment. The sound quality is degraded using this option and it is not recommended.
Option two is to connect a USB audio interface using a USB cable. This will give you a superior audio signal with minimal extra hassle. Depending on the interface you select Muséik can output up to eight independent channels that can be routed separately in your setup.
In either case, be sure to go into the SETTINGS window and 1) select the correct audio output device, and 2) verify that audio is set to ON.
NOTE: Muséik does not deliver audio through the video file. This means you will not be able to use HDMI to output the audio signal.
